The home care app — notes get written at the client's, not at the office at night.
At 2:00 PM the shift changes: seven items carried in someone's head, five callbacks in the evening. Your own app carries both — the notes are written during the visit, the next shift reads them, and families know what happened without calling the office.

What the app for your home care agency can do.
Every block saves your team a trip through paper. Tap it — on the right you see how it looks out on the route.
Seven items. Tap them into the app.
On the left is what the morning shift has to hand over. Every item that lands in the app is one phone call less in the evening:

Five calls an evening do not happen out of carelessness — they happen because the knowledge sits with someone whose shift ended hours ago.

Until evening, nobody but her knows what is on that sheet of paper.
That is exactly where the app starts: the tasks are checked off while the caregiver is still standing in the apartment — at 2:00 PM the afternoon shift reads along, and in the evening nobody has to chase anyone by phone. The care itself stays handwork.
What an app in home care actually changes.
Two moments cost a home care agency time every single day, and neither has much to do with care: the handoff at 2:00 PM and the notes in the evening. In the handoff, seven items get told from memory; later somebody sits at the office and types up what was on scraps of paper and in people's heads all day. That is where an app of your own starts — and nowhere else.
Why the handoff is the most expensive moment of the day
Seven items is a realistic Wednesday: a dressing that was changed, a pill organizer running low, a shower chair in the bathroom, a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, a family that keeps calling, the missing key #3 and a client who is eating less. At the table that takes 25 minutes, because every item gets told, questioned and explained a second time. Written down, the afternoon shift reads the same thing in three minutes — and only asks where a question is really needed.
The second effect shows up at half past seven in the evening. Five callbacks a day do not happen out of carelessness, but because the knowledge sits in the head of a colleague whose shift ended hours ago: does she still have pills for tomorrow? Who has the key? What do I tell the family? Every one of those calls interrupts two shifts at once. With the items in the system, none of them is left.
A handoff is not a memory exercise — it is a list.
Notes at the client's home instead of at the office at night
Let us use the numbers agencies report after the switch: about 38 minutes per shift that nobody has to catch up on, because the tasks are checked off right in the apartment. With twelve routes a day that is roughly 7.6 hours, spread across the whole team. That is not magic, it is moved work: what used to pile up afterward — often as overtime, sometimes unpaid — now happens in the two minutes at the end of the visit.
For the office the question changes with it. Instead of calling around all afternoon to find out which route got how far, Ms. Wallace sees on one screen which visits are documented and where something is still open. And families get a short update after every visit — about 19 a week that would otherwise have landed as callbacks at the office. That is the part family members notice fastest.
What the app cannot do — and what it must not do
It does not replace your care documentation. Your requirements stay exactly as they are; the app is the path the entries take from the client's home into your existing system, wherever there is an interface for it. It does not assess anything either: if a client has been eating less for two days, the app notes it and reports it to the office. What follows from that is still decided by a nurse — the app is no substitute for clinical judgment or medical advice.
And it does not hire anyone. If two caregivers are missing, they are missing with an app too. What changes is the time around it: less searching, fewer callbacks, less entered twice. Health information is visible only to the roles that need it — family members see visit times and a short update, not the care notes. It takes two weeks until the first version is in the stores, and from $4,000 that is not a trial version but a full app under your agency's name.

What do notes at the client's home add up to?
≈ 7.6 hours a day that nobody has to catch up on at night.
On top of that come the five evening callbacks that disappear because the handoff is in the system — and families who no longer have to ask the office whether anybody was there.

Depending on the feature set, projects land between $4,000 and roughly $30,000 — how far your app goes is your call. We name the fixed price after a short conversation, free and without obligation.
The three packages are typical sizes; anything in between is possible too. The math: base package $4,000, each additional module about +$900, each connection to an existing system about +$2,500. The shows what every single feature costs.
Where do the speed and the price come from? We work with current tooling, AI included — the time we save goes back into the price, the care stays handmade.
