The pharmacy app for your counter — preordered and waiting.
Friday, 5:30 PM: six people in line — and half of them need one box that could have been sitting ready since noon. Your own app takes the preorder, hands out the pickup time and speaks up the moment the goods are in.

What the app for your pharmacy can do.
Every block is a trip nobody has to make to the counter anymore. Tap one — on the right it stands in your customer's phone.
Six people waiting. Three of them do not need to be in line at all.
Tap a person — you see how many minutes they tie up at the counter. Then flip the switch.
At the counter
free in the peak hour
38 minutes of counter time in one hour: whoever walks in now sees the line and keeps going.
The app does not sell prescription medication — it takes preorders and reservations. Filling and counseling happen at the counter.
Same counter, same team — the line is only half as long.

Six people in line — and the one at the front only needs the box she ordered.
Preorder and reservation take exactly those trips off the counter. What is left is what you trained for: advice.
What an app really changes in a pharmacy.
A pharmacy is the one place in health care you walk into without an appointment — and that is exactly what makes the late afternoon so tight. Between 5 and 6 PM there is regularly a line of six people at the counter, and half of them need nothing but a box that has been on the shelf since morning. Your own app changes nothing about the counseling. It only clears the trips that need no counseling at all.
What 19 minutes in the peak hour are worth
Let us run the line: six people, 38 minutes of counter time together. The prescription pickup takes seven minutes, the pickup five, the beauty purchase seven — 19 minutes for three errands where nobody has to explain anything. Those three are the ones the app handles in advance: preordered, set aside, handed over at the pickup counter in twenty seconds. What is left is 19 minutes of real counseling — and 19 minutes nobody had before. That is four conversations, each as long as a question about an interaction.
The second effect is quieter and, over time, the bigger one: the goods become predictable. At 41 preorders a week averaging $24.80, you know in the morning what is going over the counter in the afternoon. 62% of that is reservations from your own shelves, the rest are special orders — and today those cause most of the phone calls, because nobody knows whether the delivery has landed. A push on arrival settles that without a single call.
You can only counsel when nobody is waiting behind you.
“Our customers are older — they will not download an app”
We hear that sentence in almost every first conversation, and it is partly true. The regular who has picked up her drops every Thursday for fifteen years will not install anything just because it exists. She does not have to. The app does not have to reach everyone, only the people in a hurry: someone on the way home from a shift, a parent with a sick child at home — and above all family members picking up for somebody else. That group calls you the most today.
In practice a small sign at the counter and one sentence while bagging are enough: “You can preorder with this, and we let you know as soon as it is in.” Whoever wants it downloads it; everybody else shops the way they always have. So you do not scare anyone off by having an app. You only stop losing the ones who see the line at 5:30, turn around and tell themselves they will get to it sometime.
Where the app stops — and has to stop
An honest limit belongs here, and in this trade it is no small thing: prescription drugs are not sold and not shipped in this app. They can be preordered and reserved — filling, counseling and handing over happen at the counter, by a trained human being. The app also does not reach into any health record: it takes the refill request and shows the status, nothing more. Diagnoses, dosing advice, lab results — none of that belongs in a push message, and none of it is in there.
It takes two weeks until the first version is in the stores — and from $4,000 that is not a trial version but a full app under your name. After that it goes quiet at first: a few curious customers preorder to try it out and check whether everything really is waiting for them. Movement usually comes through two doors — the push when a special order arrives, and the on-call information that finally gets your six nights a quarter out of the window sign. Even so, count in months rather than weeks until a steady group uses the app.
How long is your line at 5:30 on a Friday — and how many of them are only picking something up? Tell us, and we run the numbers with yours.
What does preordering add up to?
≈ $50,800 in goods a year go over your counter preordered — packed ahead instead of gathered up while the line waits.
Said honestly: this is not extra revenue at the push of a button — much of it you would sell anyway. The gain sits next to it: 19 minutes free in the peak hour and nobody who sees the line and walks on.

Depending on the feature set, projects land between $4,000 and roughly $30,000 — how far your app goes is your call. We name the fixed price after a short conversation, free and without obligation.
The three packages are typical sizes; anything in between is possible too. The math: base package $4,000, each additional module about +$900, each connection to an existing system about +$2,500. The shows what every single feature costs.
Where do the speed and the price come from? We work with current tooling, AI included — the time we save goes back into the price, the care stays handmade.
